For National Parks to be shared generation to generation, we all must do our part.
Our journey from national park to national park has emerged from many motivations — a veteran sharing his legacy, kids enjoying parks, conservation, recreation, etc. We hope that by sharing our adventures we can also have a positive impact on these places that we love. #EveryKidOutdoors
Our summer roadtrips took advantage of two Every Kid Outdoors summers, allowing our fourth graders to provide the whole family access to America’s best idea.
#NationalParks
The wellbeing and survival of our nation’s public lands is being threatened. Through our trip, we will highlight efforts to preserve public lands hand-in-hand with our partners at the National Parks Conservation Association.
#Patriotism
We believe that visiting and protecting National Parks are an explicit expression of love of country, especially for veterans and military families.
#Veterans
Our journey documents a combat-wounded veteran’s interactions with our Parks in an attempt to inspire other veterans to share and celebrate their own legacies through National Parks.
#ProtectOurParks
The future of our National Parks is not a guarantee. Threats come from climate change, budget cuts, and loss of public land protection. We hope to use our story to protect our Parks.
#VanLife
What better way to travel from park to park than in a camper van? Fully outfitted, campervans from Peace Vans and Rocky Mountain Camper Vans allowed us to nimbly explore parks from the comfort of our pop-top.
